I believe that Qatar Airways Virtual Airline is one of the best, if not the best, virtual airlines out there in Infinite Flight. My reasons for this are because, personally, since joining, my experience in the game has leveled up to a new kind of realism—going through the highly immersive and in-depth training to become a pilot for the airline, along with the very active group of people that are a part of this airline. Not to forget the immense number of events that are happening all the time, giving you the chance to not only rank up quickly and fly new, bigger, and more challenging planes but also to enjoy flying alongside other people with the same interest in aviation as you! Personally, I would really rate this VA an 11/10, and that’s not being biased by being a part of it—I truly mean it!

Qatari Virtual is one of the very best virtual organizations in the Infinite Flight skies. Collaboration and professionalism are embedded into the culture of the airline which is shaped by both incredible members and staff. Frequent internal and external events, different flight modes, a diverse fleet, and an expansive route network thanks to the airline’s many destinations and codeshare partnerships give pilots the flexibility and opportunity to explore the world on their own terms.

The VA I started with and the VA I’ll end with once I retire. It’s the VA where I improved my aviation knowledge. It’s the VA where I met my friends. It’s the VA that led me to co-found another VA with them.

Joining Qatari Virtual has been nothing short of life-changing. From the moment I signed up, I felt welcomed into a community that quickly became like a second family. Not long after joining, I was thrilled to take on the role of recruiter, which allowed me to connect with even more passionate aviators and help grow this incredible VA. The friendships I’ve built here are priceless—I’ve met some of the most amazing people who share the same love for aviation. Together, we’ve created countless unforgettable memories, from group flights and exciting events to late-night chats filled with laughter and camaraderie. Being part of Qatari Virtual isn’t just about flying; it’s about belonging to something bigger, something truly special. This VA is more than a community—it’s a home, and I’m proud to call it mine.

Follow the journey of Qatari Virtual through the milestones, events, achievements, and defining moments that shaped our community.

Qatari Virtual was approved by the IFVARB in May 2023. In the same month, we also hosted our first internal event.

In June, Qatari Virtual agreed their very first codeshare with Finnair Virtual.

In August 2023, Qatari Virtual hosted their first IFC event: Destination Doha. This event is known to have been the rise of Qatari Virtual, and to have broken Infinite Flight Records. In the same month Qatari Virtual also released their Cargo Mode System. This is a state-of-the-art exclusive system for our pilots, coded into our crew centre, to give our pilots an immersive and realistic cargo experience.

At the end of our first year of operations, we were nominated for Best Virtual Airline in the IFC awards, finishing runner up.

In January, Qatari Virtual hosted our first continental tour: Tour D’Afrique. An event consisting of 18 legs, flown across 10 weeks, discovering the beauty of Africa.

Qatari Virtual launched F1 Cargo Events, transporting F1 race equipment from each Grand Prix each week.

Qatari Virtual hit one year of operations. Our pilots filed 7804 PIREPs, we had 417 new pilots join us, flew a total of 83,493 hours and hosted 205 events.

To kickoff the summer, Qatari Virtual hosted a summer event scheme, lasting 10 weeks, visiting 10 regions, and hosting a massive 50 events!

Qatari Virtual surpassed 100,000 flight hours! This achievement was a huge testament to the commitment, enthusiasm and professionalism of our pilots and staff team. In other words, we flew around the Earth almost 2300 times.

Having conquered the landscapes of Africa on our Tour D'Afrique and braved the frozen expanses of Antarctica, Qatari Virtual proudly presents our next great journey - The Great Asian Expedition! Our pilots embarked on an adventure through the largest continent on Earth. During this tour, our pilots learned about the rich diversity of 12 countries, visited 14 remarkable cities, and had fun piloting 15 flights across Asia.
